To prepare Poporo Oka Baba tea, simply clean and boil.

Instructions:
1.) Take about a handful of leaves and rinse under cold water. Unravel each leaf sheath and mechanically rub away any sediment.
2.) Make mixture of baking soda and water, dip a paper towel in the solution and wipe down each leaf sheath. Then rinse under cool water.
To boil:
Place handful of stalks in a pot then add water till leaves are fully submerged. On medium heat, bring to a boil. After it reaches a boil, let it sit on low heat for about 15 minutes or longer till the water turns dark red. The longer it simmers, the darker the liquid.
To store, keep covered and store in fridge as it is completely organic.
